Agricultural finance generally means studying, examining, and analysing the financial aspects pertaining to farm business. The financial aspects include money matters relating to production of agricultural products and their disposal. It as a branch of agricultural economics, which deals with, and financial resources related to individual farm units.
The principal objective of this course is to impart knowledge and expertise in the field of agricultural finance. It enables the participant to understand the business planning and financial management of an agri-business and to be aware of models of gauging agricultural debt and the role of the regulator in agricultural financing
