Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop
Most organizations still have challenges in determining the extent to which their operations are contributing to the achievement of the desired goals and objectives. Examples of some of the questions that still remain unanswered in some could be: We are working hard but how can we effectively measure the progress we have made in our work? Is our service delivery producing the desired impacts? Are our operations sustainable? How can we ensure our activities are relevant, effective and efficient in the context of inputs to expected outputs? How are our development interventions contributing to the welfare of our clients or stakeholders? Why have things happened the way they did?
Centre for Environmental Management and Planning-Africa’s Monitoring and Evaluation workshop provides solutions to the above and more related challenges. It will introduce and equip participants with skills to be able assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, (both expected and unexpected), in the light of specified objectives, as well as the impact, sustainability and the appropriateness of the institutional framework.
